Since Edison invented the phonograph in 1877 the relationship of sound and its storage medium inspired countless great minds! In our workshop we plan to co-design an adapter for turntables and other rotating devices that transforms drawings into sound. We will be using the PSLab (<a href="https://pslab.io/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://pslab.io/</a>) as interface to the computer, KiCAD (<a href="https://www.kicad.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://www.kicad.org/</a>) for the PCB, and Tidal Cycles (<a href="https://tidalcycles.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://tidalcycles.org/</a>) for sound generation.
