Industrial Control Systems and Operational Technology (ICS/OT) are critical components of modern industrial infrastructure, and their security is essential to ensure safe and reliable operations. However, the current threat landscape is increasingly hostile, with cyber attackers targeting ICS/OT systems for financial gain, espionage, or sabotage. Moreover, ICS/OT organizations face unique challenges securing their environments, such as legacy systems, complex interdependencies, and limited visibility.

This presentation will discuss how an Applied Defense-in-Depth strategy using Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS) can help ICS/OT organizations secure their critical infrastructure. The talk will cover five key takeaways:
1. Understanding the current threat landscape for ICS/OT cybersecurity, including recent attacks and emerging threats.
2. Identifying the challenges that ICS/OT organizations face in securing their environments, such as limited resources and expertise and complex networks.
3. Introducing the Defense-in-Depth concept and how it can be applied to ICS/OT cybersecurity.
4. Demonstrating practical FOSS solutions for implementing Defense-in-Depth in ICS/OT environments, such as network segmentation, intrusion detection, and secure configuration management.
5. Highlighting the benefits and limitations of FOSS in ICS/OT security, such as interoperability, customization, and support.

TARGET AUDIENCES
• C-Suites and executives who oversee ICS/OT systems and are responsible for their security
• Directors and managers of IT and cybersecurity who are responsible for securing ICS/OT systems
• Leaders in the ICS/OT industry who are interested in learning about the latest trends and strategies for securing critical infrastructure
• Technical experts in ICS/OT cybersecurity, including security engineers, operators, and analysts, who are responsible for implementing and managing security solutions in ICS/OT environments

TOPIC OUTLINE (45min)
I.
