More and more open source software (OSS) tools are available for FPGA developments. This short talk will present them and compare their performance to manufacture, e.g Xilinx ISE and Vivado. With the popularity gained by FPGAs for Deep Learning, these tools will likely improve significantly with FPGA community efforts and realisation by manufacturers of the benefits of OSS.
