As a tech/entrepreneur consultant for the last 35 years I've encountered many EduTech companies. So many have a "build it and they will come" attitude and an expectation to replace teachers while they revolutionize education. Yet this has clearly not happened and these companies weren't even widely adopted during COVID when they had their best opportunity for market share.<br><br>As the son of two educators and someone who has home schooled my own three boys, I will argue that the premise of most EduTech offerings is fundamentally unsound and offer an alternative perspective. Some aspects of this perspective have already demonstrated success a few times and I will describe how it is being applied to a new effort I am leading that has access to 80% of the Thai Curriculum students in Thailand over the next two years.
