Where open source meets decentralized technology

OpenTechSummit India 2026 is a one-day open technology and community event organized by FOSSASIA as part of Devcon 8. It will take place on 5 November 2026 at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai.

This special edition connects open-source contributors, maintainers, developers, researchers, startups and community organizers with people building across the Ethereum and decentralized technology ecosystem. The programme explores how technologies developed in the open are driving breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, privacy, developer tools, open hardware and digital infrastructure.

Join us for a day of community-led talks, workshops, project showcases and practical collaboration. Participants will be able to exchange knowledge, discover open-source projects, meet contributors and build connections across communities in India and beyond.

OpenTechSummit is an international event series organized in cities around the world since 2014, including Berlin, Singapore, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Shenzhen, Hyderabad and Colombo.

Important access information

A valid Devcon 8 ticket or Devcon Day Pass is required to enter the venue. OpenTechSummit ticket holders who do not already have a Devcon 8 ticket will receive a voucher to claim a complimentary Devcon Day Pass for 5 November.
