We are happy to announce that FOSSASIA PGDay returns to Thailand on March 9, 2027, bringing the PostgreSQL community together in Bangkok.

FOSSASIA PGDay is an annual gathering for PostgreSQL users, developers, and enthusiasts from across Asia and beyond. Co-located with the FOSSASIA Summit, the event provides a focused forum for sharing knowledge, practical experiences, and insights into PostgreSQL and its growing ecosystem. Previous editions have taken place in Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia, connecting local communities with contributors, users, and organizations from around the world.

FOSSASIA PGDay highlights PostgreSQL in real-world applications and its role as a scalable, secure, and cost-effective open-source data platform. It also creates opportunities to build connections within the PostgreSQL community and the wider open-source ecosystem.

Call for Proposals

The Call for Proposals is now open, and we welcome submissions on PostgreSQL development and administration, performance and scaling, security, cloud and infrastructure, data engineering, extensions, migrations, and real-world deployments.

Submissions will be reviewed by a committee led by Bruce Momjian and Tatsuo Ishii
