Laser cutting is a fast and easy way to cut surfaces of various materials. But that doesn't mean you cannot make 3D objects with it.This workshop will focus on using an open-source platform called <a href="http://Makercase.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Makercase.com</a>. With this platform, you can easily cut flat materials to create beautiful boxes of various types, materials, and thicknesses. The beauty of this platform is that it makes all the calculations for you, and all you have to do is provide the size of the box, its type, and material <a href="http://thickness.In" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">thickness.In</a> the workshop, we will go from the first step of choosing the type of box we want to make, and use the drawings generated to cut wood plates and assemble the boxes. Participants will take home a small box and an understanding of a new tool.
