FOSSASIA Summit 2027 takes place in Bangkok from 7–9 March. Developers, maintainers, researchers, founders, technology leaders and open-source communities from Asia and around the world come together to build, share and advance open technology.

In 2027, the Summit focuses on secure, sustainable and human-centred technologies for the AI age. In-depth technical talks, hands-on workshops, project showcases and community sessions connect emerging ideas with practical implementation. The programme spans open-source AI and open data, cloud platforms and DevOps, cybersecurity and privacy, databases, web and mobile development, Linux and operating systems, embedded systems, and open hardware.

New contributors learn directly from experienced practitioners, contribute to projects and meet potential mentors. Maintainers exchange hard-won knowledge, grow their communities and shape project roadmaps. Startups, companies, researchers and public institutions find technologies, talent and partners for real products, infrastructure and public services.

Since 2009, FOSSASIA Summit has grown into one of Asia’s leading open-technology events. It connects the people who create open technologies with the communities and organisations that use, sustain and advance them.

The Call for Speakers and Projects is now open. Share your experience, present your work, or showcase an open source project with the community.
